On this album, Maryliz performs her own compositions along with select works by Ludovico Einaudi and Arvo Pärt, creating a collection that shows respect for the darkest part of the year.

So many people seem to dread this season with its unknown, slow tempo. The winter can also be perceived as a time of incubation, a time of hibernation, when seeds are planted and tended to with proper nutrients, letting the incubation period take as long as it needs.

The music you will hear mirrors slower, more interior places in our lives with a sense of waiting until one is genuinely ready to appear in the light of day.
