Come join us Saturday, January 21st for an evening of music with one of America’s most exciting performance artists, Maryliz Smith.
Maryliz has toured internationally moving audiences to grand and intimate places. The evening will enter into the timeless nature of storytelling and music. “How might your life have been different if, once when you were young, struggling to fulfill what you thought ought to be done, if you had slowly walked away from the noise crowding in on you... until you heard, from within yourself, a silence you had almost forgotten?”

Ariel Barnes enjoys a diverse career as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician.
He is currently Principal Cello of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, and a member of
The Turning Point Ensemble. Ariel has recently formed a new duo with Heidi Krutzen, “Couloir” to explore the sound, timbre, and color of cello and harp, a combination of instruments rarely heard together, and to collaborate with contemporary composers. www.couloir.ca
